We have made so many friends and will be sad to leave the tour of NZ South Island!
Terri and I took a 1 hour flight over Mount Cook and the Glaciers today which was spectacular as a way of celebrating Vera's centenary (yes she was born 7 April 1908!). We thought it fitting and better than any celebratory meal for such a wonderful woman.
Busy now arranging a meal for about 10 friends on the tour. Last night was a hoot with a piano player and guitar with several different nationalities competing for singing time.
After a couple of hours we gave in but left one friend with a bottle of wine which he shared with an unsuspecting passer by!!!
